Robert Justin Aubrey Born: June 30, 1947 Died: August 11, 2024 Robert Justin Aubry, 77, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024 in Rockford, IL, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center, surrounded by his family. Bob was born on June 30, 1947, the son of Justin and Rita Mae (Roux) Aubry in Ottawa, IL. On August 9, 1969, he married Janice Kay Mattioda at Immaculate Conception Church in Spring Valley, IL. Bob was a teacher in Stillman Valley, IL and an administrator and football coach in Ashton, IL for several years before becoming the superintendent of Dixon Public Schools. He was an avid Cubs and Bears fan. His all time favorite "job" was being an usher at Wrigley Field. Bob enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family as often as he could. Watching his children and grandchildren play sports was always a highlight for him. Bob is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jan Aubry of Rochelle; two children: Mandy Aubry of Bartlett, IL and Jon (Anne) Aubry of Whitefish Bay, WI; two grandchildren:
