Nena Morrison, 94, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 20, 2025 at her daughter's house in Rochelle with family by her side. Nena was born on June 1, 1930 to Carl and Ann (Castor) Cipolla in Rockford, IL. On June 6, 1948, she married Harold R. Morrison in Rochelle. He preceded her in death on March 9, 2006. She worked for the Aigner's and then for Avery Corporation.
Nena enjoyed going on walks, tending to her flower gardens and visiting friends. She loved her church and cherished the time she spent with all of her family.
Nena is survived by her children: Harold (Kathi) Morrison of Nevada and Sandra Morrison of Rochelle; seven grandchildren: Brian (Scarlett) Dailey, Michael (Cindy) Dailey, Christopher (Dorain) Dailey, Erica (Jeremy) Hicks, Amanda (Derrik) Cox, Matthew Morrison and Chad (Myria) Schabacker; nine great grandchildren: Ashley, Christopher and Emily Dailey, Emma and Laney Hicks, Riley and Shelby Cox, and Nolan and Amelia Schabacker ; great great grandchild, Grey Mille
